About:

Better Fruit, is a rotoscope animation that I developed in the winter of 2022. I had two weeks to produce a time-based piece that encapsulated the concept of "cause and effect".

I liked the idea of a monstrous transformation brought upon by a desire to "change". I primarily drew over, and altered, pixelated videos of myself. I also did a bit of rudimentary traditional animation.

 My favorite parts of the production were the shots that required me to use a mix of traditional and rotoscope techniques. The blend of aesthetic quality had a strange result. I wanted each shot to exist separately from the rest of the film while working in tandem.
